No POWER...hence, no blog's...

Hi faithful readers...Pat here with a post storm/tornado update. The power went out 4:30 p.m. Sunday! The power came back on 4;29 p.m., Tuesday.

The local papers now are saying, that strong winds, but NOT, tornadoes passed through here Sunday afternoon! I'm not too sure, they're right. Several people have related to me; seeing the actual funnel. I drove around this morning, and I saw first hand the extensive damage. I'd say, based on what I saw, I think Battle Creek was lucky it wasn't hit worse, and I think it was a tornado. I'm grateful, no one got seriously hurt. I'm grateful, we (Toni and I), didn't suffer damages. But mostly, I'm grateful the power is back on!

Have a seat

Well May hasn't been very nice in the weather department now, has it? Anyway, things in the garden slowly take shape and progress. The latest edition, however, doesn't have a thing to do with growing! No! The latest edition has been a new sitting bench
installed in the backyard, near the gazebo!

Next time you visit, you'll be able to sit down in cool, shaded comfort. Have a seat!

(Oh, and Happy-early Birthday, Toni)!

I wanna' see this!

You know how sometimes, you can't really explain something properly to do it justice. Yeah! It's like that. You'll just have to watch for yourself! But trust me, it's good!

The Ed Problem...for which I'm greatful!

Hi friendly reader's. I know I have written often about my best buddy, Bob! Bob and I were friends since Jr. High School, and have remained strong friends ever since. (He visited me, just last Friday, here in Michigan!) Well...

Bob made friends a while back with a dock worker at one of the postal stations he delivers too; and long story short, his name is Ed. Ed is the kind of lost soul, who is usually very shy around strangers, and he is a bit eccentric in his hobbies. He will latch onto a new interest for a few weeks, then grow tired of it, and abandon it altogether.

Every now and then, Bob will "gift" me, with some treasure that Ed bought, then decided he didn't need and will give it to one of his few good friends, Bob. Bob, inturn, (who usually has bought said gift for himself), will give it to me!

In the past, I have received some Blu-ray movies, DVD's and cd's, all bought by Ed!
I am grateful for them, I just wish Ed, would let me compensate him for the items.
Meanwhile, thank you Ed. I do appreciate the gifts.

Rainy, but fun weekend!

Hi readers...Pat here. Well, I know it's been awhile since I last wrote. So here is an update to what has been going on in Michigan for the last week or so. Well, with the nice weather, Toni and I have turned our attention to the outside house. We've been prepping gardens. Cleaning debris, putting on screen's on the gazebo, setting up outdoor furniture. (And generally sprucing up the yard!)

Well last Friday, Toni and I hosted some of our oldest, and dearest friends from Wisconsin, and sure enough, the weather turned foul, and we had to stay indoors, the entire weekend!

But not to worry. A great time was had by all, and a BIG SPECIAL thanks goes out to my guest, you we're awesome. We had a great time. See you soon. It was rainy, but a FUN weekend! ;)

Don't tease your Dog!

This is not how one should talk to his/her dog. (Or vise-versa), for that matter.
