New John Carter news

Good morning readers. Disney has just published a bunch of new photo's from their forthcoming Movie, "John Carter"! The film is an adaptation of The first John Carter novel, "A Princess of Mars". We get a glimpse of a six-limbed ape, and John Carter's six-legged dog!

I am really looking forward to this movie. It opens Mid-March.

What's for Thanksgiving?

Hi faithful readers. Pat here with a pre-Thanksgiving update. Well Toni has already left for Phoenix this morning, and I await the arrival of Christopher this afternoon. Toni was asked to visit her sister, Birdi in Phoenix...and of course, Toni would never say no to her dear sister! (That's what sisters do, right?)

So Chris and I are bachelor's for the holiday. The question is, what do we eat for Thanksgiving?
I'll keep you posted, when we make up our minds. Meanwhile, we look forward to the Packers playing Thanksgiving Day! Go Pack!

Toni's away...so Tony to the Rescue!

Each week, Toni and I have a habit of putting on our favorite jerseys before kick-off, and settle in to enjoy another Packer game. But last night I was in a pickle. Toni is traveling this week, and fearful I might jinx the Pack; I had to find a quick substitute to suit-up for the big game! No worries mate!

I hunger for "Hunger Games"

Good morning faithful readers. This morning I did something I seldom do. I watched TV to catch the first showing of the trailer for the film, "The Hunger Games". About a month ago, a good friend Doug Adams, suggested I read this book series. I took him up on his suggestion. (I am so glad I did!)

The book series was riveting! I loved the books, and now await the movie. It comes out in March of 2012. Can't wait. And without further ado, lets watch the trailer.

Back to Normal

Well things are back to normal around here. Toni got home from her trip from China last Thursday night. She finally is getting back to normal sleeping patterns after having a few sleepless nights and rather tired days!

I have raked, blown, lawn-mowed, and still.... the yard is full of leaves. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)
(*sigh), Still, it could be worse. Looks like we'll be heading out to Milwaukee again soon, to see friends and family! So all in all; life is good again in Michigan!

About last week...

Hi faithful readers. Pat here with an update of my days spent without my lil' Toni. As you know, Toni has been away traveling in China for the last two weeks. Fortunately, my ol' buddy Bob, came to visit last weekend, so I actually had some pretty fun days.

We visited the K'zoo Air Museum, and the Gilmore Car Museum. As well as visit Grand Rapids to see a BIG-SCREEN presentation of the classic silent movie, Metropolis! Always great to see Bob. Even better, when a friend comes to visit, just because he knows you are lonely!

Toni finally comes home Thursday night. Safe travels...I love you, Toni!
