My Tractor's Back!

My tractor was in at the repair shop. I needed a litany of repairs to the old girl! The blade needed to be sharpened, the deck needed to have a new leverage, float leaver installed, as well as a tune-up, air filter, oil change, and a front tire alignment. (There is a story there, but I'd rather not say.) D'oh! Anyway, I got the call from the shop and the repairs/ tune-up is done. One quick truck delivery later, and my tractor's back. Now if it ever warms up, I may actually have to cut the grass!

401K, IRS, and me!

Hi there, it's me, Pat, with a slice-o-life story for you! Back in 2009, my 401 K account, offered several changes, and long story short; I would have to choose which option I would transfer my account to. (My credit union, told me, it was necessary to come in, and sign the paperwork!) I did. I rolled the 401K into another 401K account. Signed the papers and went on my merry way. Merry; until the mail arrived today saying I received a cash pay out in 2009, and now owe the IRS $5,000! Back to the credit union I went, (along with Toni), to get this straightened out. "No I didn't get a pay out. Yes I did roll it into another 401K account!" (You ought to know; they were both at your institution!) "Yes I do want this straightened out. Yes I do want a letter saying it was an accounting error on you're end!" Long story, I know. Happy ending pending!

The rain continues...

Hi faithful reader's of this humble tome. (*sigh*)! Not a lot to write about lately. After the world trip, and the jaunt to Florida, the grey skies of Michigan don't measure up. Not much new on the home front. Chris is in the middle of his semester at Roosevelt College in Chicago. (He already had his spring break.)

Toni is as busy as ever. getting 150 emails a night, with just about everyone expecting an answer by morning. And me, (as usual), have 20 different projects in the works.

And as for the weather...the rain continues.........

I'm Good!

I have been way busy lately! I went to Disney, for my Birthday, came back and celebrated Chris' Birthday during his Spring Break! And have been going non-stop to various doctor offices for check-up's. (All routine! All just fine!) But I've been so busy; I haven't made many entries lately to this here blog!

So, let me just go on the record here; "I'm fine, Thanks!" Thanks for all your kind letters, cards...prayers, and just for being concerned!

One last look at a great vacation!

Ah...the memories are still bright, and warm, and leave me with a smile. I had a great vacation in Florida, with my buddy Bob and his family!

We spent a good deal of time traveling to different theme parks, and had many fun, exciting hours of adventures. Toni, is already hatching a plan to make it happen again next year! (That would be nice.) But for now, I'll just have to settle for one last look at a great vacation! Ahhh!!!!
