Good morning faithful readers of this here blog. Pat here with a quick update about, (OK, I'm not going to type it again)! The above mentioned film, is one of the funniest movies, the I ever saw.
I first saw it at the 41 Twin Outdoor Theatre on South 27 Street in Milwaukee, when I was a young kid. The movie has never lost its charm, or fun, and I still laugh out-loud at some of the goofiest moments.
I know its not for everyone. I however, enjoy the heck out of it. Here's a couple of reasons to see it again!

BAT-KID!
I first read about this in the papers last November. The Make A Wish Foundation had arranged for a special Batman Event for pint-sized Miles Scott. Five year old Miles is in remission from leukemia, who wanted to be Batman for a day. Wish granted, lets watch his adventure. I don't know if you'll stay to the end, but its a tear jerker!

Snow, snow, go away!
Happy belated New Year update. Pat here, with a wintry January snow report. SNOW! Lots and lots of snow! We've set records here in Battle Creek for our January snow fall. (And the month isn't over, yet!)
How much snow you may ask? Well...we've had 39" since the first. We've had so much snow, that last week, during the really nasty cold snap, we had tree damage from falling tree limbs.
Look at the poor state of the gazebo, right now. Ouch! Don't worry, preparations for a full repair are underway! I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, it can stop snowing for the rest of the year, and I would be very happy!
