The Game

Toni and I spent the weekend in Seattle, where Toni had some business meetings. Toni's sister Birdi flew out to Seattle to join us for the weekend.  We got the chance to play, and visit so here are some of the pictures, including one or two from the game!

Yes, I know, so much has been written about the bad call at the end of the game, I couldn't add a thing! But I can tell you first-hand, we still had a great time in Seattle!

Getting a little chiiy at night!

Hi all! Pat here with a little update. Been a little chilly in Battle Creek lately! Last weekend Toni and I had a little wine out in the gazebo, and we sat and watched the fire burn in our fire nitch!

Got a big weekend planned, and I'll have more on that for you in a couple of days!

Another good deed by Batman

 

Christian Bale, the actor who played Batman in the recent film, showed once again that heroes don't need capes. He recently flew Jayden Barber, a four year old Cancer/MSD Leukemia

survivor and his whole family out to Los Angeles for a fun-filled day at Disneyland!

They were personally escorted to the theme park, and had lunch at the fabled, Disney 23 Club!

Jayden, is a BIG Batman fan, and was thrilled to meet his hero in person.

I love these stories when someone truly "gets it". Bale picked up the whole tab for the trip!

Such a wonderful gift.

 

Action Toni again!

Hi all, Pat here with another Action Toni installment. It rained like crazy yesterday, and since I was caught up in my chores...well, it was time to work on a new Action Toni set.

The ape figurine was purchased at Goodwill store for .59 cents! A quick re-paint and  it becomes an ancient temple statue!. The walls of the temple, were carved with a hot-knife. ( Special foam-cutting/carving tool!) The walls, are pieces of pink insulation foam. Paint the thing and there you are!
