What's a Superhero for?

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I've been pretty busy lately! I spent a lot of last week, reading updates from the Comic Con Convention in San Diego. I came across this story, and knew I just had to share it with my readers. Let me set the scene. Over 125,000 visitors come to the four day affair in San Diego. There are all kinds of vendors and displays for comics, movies, TV, and of course, fans. Lots of them. So you can imagine how scary it is for a little kid to get lost in this crowd. But have no fear, for everything gets better, when you spot your favorite superhero to help you find your dad, as this little kid did. I smiled when I read it. Hope you did too!

Just stuff!

Hi readers...Pat here with another, although lonely, update! Toni left yesterday for a week-long trip to Chicago. She is attending her annual meetings with vendors, test-labs, and her international team of promotion managers! Its a big deal, and it will keep Toni very busy, all week long!

Meanwhile, things are slow in Battle Creek. I'm doing laundry, and keeping myself busy while Toni's away. I saw the new Harry Potter movie, (by my self), so you know I'm already lonely.
*Sigh!*

Oh well, guess I'll just have to keep doing stuff! Oh yeah, almost forgot! I called Chris yesterday in Chicago, and I could hardly hear his connection! Wonder if Rupert Murdoch, has that problem?

Meijer Gardens visit!

Hi faithful readers. Pat here with an exciting entry! Today, Toni, and Mom and Dad, went to Grand Rapids and visited Fredrick Meijer Gardens. A beautiful vista, of flowers, statues, and flora. Here are a couple of pictures via Toni's IPhone!

Good morning friendly readers. Pat here, with a Mom and Pop update. Today, my folks are coming to town this week for a visit. I hope their train is on time. We'll be going around with them seeing the sights! (Maybe a trip to the casino!) And of course eating some terrific food! I'll keep you posted, and maybe share a picture or two along the way! I'm looking forward to seeing them!

Morning to all my Happy 4th of July readers. Had a lovely day yesterday, over at Toni and my friends house on the lake! Wynne and Gene, host a 4th Bash every year! They are awesome host who never disappoint. Got back late from fireworks, and did a little web surfing. And look what popped up. I didn't even know they were making this movie. Hmmm? It looks good!

What's with all the Royal Weddings?

I just read another royal wedding post this morning and asked myself, "What's with all the royal weddings, lately?"

I think my brother Matt said it best...I thought when we kicked the British out, meant we didn't have to give a crap about this stuff! And yet, the TV, the newspapers are out there covering this stuff, like it's the only news story out there.

The only princesses I wanna here about, are the Disney variety!
