From the Action Toni comic strip!

I have received lots of comments from my loyal readers about the "ACTION TONI" comic strip. (And yes, more mayhem is on the way soon!) Comments have ranged from funny, really funny, to eh, it's OK!

The action figures, dolls and stuff used to make Action Toni come from all sorts of sources. Goodwill stores, ebay in a couple of instances; and lots of things made by me. The brick wall in this scene is a case in point. Using a "hot knife" for foam cutting, I made a brick pattern in this insulation foam, then imprinted it with a rough rocky surface, painted it and behold, a brick wall! (I know, too much time on my hands.) I have been busy getting ready for the next installment coming up shortly.

Getting ready for the trip with TONI. Can't wait to visit with some new friends I've made in Hong Kong! I'll have some good stories when I get back.

Meanwhile...everyone back here in the states be extra careful and safe. I want all my friends healthy when I get back!

Favre and the Vikings

Well it looks like Bob was right. He had a theory that just like the original "Rollerball" film, where the corporate bad guys decided that Jonathan E was finished and tried to push him aside, that Brett Favre was experiencing the same thing; and like the hero of "Rollerball", he was not ready to go gently into the good night!

Well here we are with the Vikings, (whom I still despise), sitting at 6-0, while my beloved Packers are at 3-2! I still like Aaron Rodgers...I think he's been overshadowed by all the Favre talk.
But I do think, that both the coach and general manager of the Packers are going to have to do a lot of explaining, at the end of the year, if the Vikings continue unabated to the playoffs!

Two post today! Yeah! "The Pack is back...", (at least for one afternoon.) Here is a couple of pictures of me celebrating!

Friends for life!

Here's a couple of pictures from this weekend. Anna, Toni and I went to "Bridges Park" for a morning stroll.

The girls went on t a multitude of places for a whirl-wind tour of Battle Creek and Marshall, while I got to go to work! :(

THEY BOTH SAY THEY HAD A TERRIFIC DAY! It was sad to see Anna, go, but...she'll be back. Old friends are our greatest gift, they keep passing through our lives just when we need them, or they, us. Its a great comfort to know we have such special people with us on our journey. ;)

Andy and her (our) guest!

Andy, (Toni's old nick-name from years gone by), has a guest this weekend; Anna-banana! Anna is Toni's oldest and dearest friend from Jr. high days. (She was our maid of honor, at our wedding!)

Yes, Anna is NOT known by many these days as "the banana"; but when these two get together, its still "Andy" & "Anna-banana".

To hear these two talk; you'd think they still were in Jr. high school! I am glad to see such a great friendship endure. This weekend is a celebration. I luv it! ( ...and Anna-banana too!)

Whole lot'a ACTION

Good morning all. Some of my readers, (and you know who you are), have already read some of the fast hijinks's, know as "ACTION Toni".

What started out as a gag gift for Toni when she was away on a business trip, became a whole different project altogether!
I've produced a action comic featuring our favorite action gal, in her greatest adventure ever. (Its foolish and outrageous)...but its fun to write and produce.

No news is good news

Hey all...Patrick here. Sorry I haven't posted much lately, but I've been working like a dog. (That's good, right?) So one of the things, well besides laundry, cleaning, dishes..that has been neglected has been my posts. A special "sorry", goes out to Toni, who has had to tote that pail of water by herself this past week.

I'll have more soon, including a special peek at what one of my "projects" has been.
