Snow (again)!

Well its almost February and the snow finally seems to have caught up to us! The Last couple of days we've had a couple of inches each day. I suspect some of it is lake effect snow. Friday we go hit with 5". Saturday 3". Sunday 2", and this morning, light spindly flakes are gently falling!

It could end today, and not snow again for ten months and that would be totally OK by me. Battle Creek snow removal is terrible. Ah-well, going to Florida soon! (NOT SOON ENOUGH!)

Hobby Lobby car barn!

Hello faithful readers. Most of you know I am an avid hobbyist. (I paint and draw a lot!) The place I often go to get supplies, The Hobby Lobby! Well, imagine my surprise, when I picked up the morning paper, and saw this picture. A woman's car slammed into the Hobby Lobby-lobby! Guess I'll be skipping Hobby Lobby this week!

15 and Done!

And like that...the Packers Season ended. Toni and I watched the Packers season end with their disappointing loss to the New York Giants. I know the better team one. I guess the biggest disappointment was how poorly the Packers played. Oh well...there's always next year! (Gosh, winter just got a little colder!)

Happy New Year 2012

Hello. Welcome to 2012! I haven't written as often of late, and have to get back into the habit! Toni and I are doing well. We plan our annual vacations in advance, and our trip schedule for 2012 is hectic. Trips to Florida, Arizona, and Hong Kong are in the works. (And yes, I'll be detailing them in this blog!) So welcome back. Happy New Year. Hope you have a great year!  ;) Pat

What's new?

Hello readers. Chris has come home for the holidays. He's done with school for the semester, and is sure glad of it. Chris, Toni and I went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie. We really enjoyed it. Very thrilling, and entertaining! Looks like Christmas day, we'll go to church, open presents and then settle in to cheer on the Packers against da' Bears! Merry Christmas to you all!
